A Celebration Built Around the Details
Some events are elevated by the details. Others are defined by them.
For this milestone celebration, 402 Event Services brought the vision to life with event designer Alex Hollman leading the design direction. The goal was to create something highly intentional — custom pieces, a refined color story, and statement installations that would transform the space while still allowing the celebration to feel sophisticated and effortless.
Custom Design, Down to the Font
From the very beginning, the goal was to create an experience that felt personal and cohesive.
Alex Hollman’s design incorporated custom typography and a carefully curated color palette throughout the celebration, creating a visual story that felt intentional from the moment guests arrived.
That vision carried through everything from the welcome signage to the larger architectural elements of the space.
The custom welcome signage served as the first introduction to the celebration, setting the tone for everything that followed.
A Bar Built to Make a Statement
One of the most substantial custom elements of the evening was the 18-foot bar, paired with a 24-foot back bar.
Rather than simply filling the space with a standard rental bar, Catalyst brought Alex’s design vision to life through custom-built pieces created specifically for the event.
The scale created a true focal point while giving the bar area a polished, built-in feel. Every proportion, finish, and detail was considered to complement the overall design.
It wasn’t just a place to serve drinks — it became part of the architecture of the celebration.
Oversized Pedestals + Sculptural Florals
For the florals, the design called for something beyond the traditional centerpiece.
Oversized pedestals created height and visual impact, giving the floral arrangements room to become sculptural installations within the space.
The scale of these pieces helped draw the eye throughout the room while creating dimension and balance. Rather than competing with the florals, the custom rental pieces provided a framework for them to stand out.
Luxury Tabletop
The tables were designed with the same level of intention. A luxury tabletop collection brought together elevated textures, sophisticated finishes, and layered details to create a dining experience that felt polished without feeling overly formal. From the dinnerware and glassware to the supporting rental pieces, every element was selected to work together as part of Alex’s overall design.
Because luxury isn’t always about adding more. Sometimes, it’s about choosing the right details.
