Logistics Operator

Catalyst Event Rentals is looking for a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Logistics Operator to help coordinate every rental order from the moment it enters logistics through delivery, installation, and pickup.

This is a key role within our day-to-day operations. You’ll work closely with our Sales, Warehouse, Delivery, and Leadership teams, as well as venues and clients, to make sure every event is organized, communicated, scheduled, and executed smoothly.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem-solver who enjoys staying organized, managing multiple moving pieces, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. This is a hands-on position, so you’ll also jump in with warehouse and event operations when needed.

What You'll Do

• Manage the logistics process for every Catalyst rental order

• Review orders for accuracy, completeness, and potential issues

• Coordinate delivery, installation, and pickup schedules

• Confirm venue details, access, timelines, setup requirements, and special instructions

• Keep Sales, Warehouse, Delivery Crews, and Leadership informed throughout the process

• Communicate with venues and clients regarding logistical details and scheduling

• Manage last-minute changes and help solve day-of event issues

• Help prepare, stage, load, and return rental orders

• Assist with deliveries, installations, teardowns, and warehouse operations as needed

• Identify potential scheduling or operational issues before they become problems

• Serve as a go-to problem solver when unexpected situations arise

• Help keep our operations organized, efficient, and running smoothly

Work Environment

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role split between the Catalyst office, warehouse, and event locations. No two days are exactly the same, and the ability to adapt, prioritize, and stay calm when things change is essential.

Schedule: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Rotation:

• Week 1: Monday–Friday

• Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday–Saturday

Pay: Starting at $22/hour, with additional incentive pay for after-hours and Sunday shifts.

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and hard-working Event Delivery Driver + Crew Lead to join our team and assist with the delivery, setup, pickup, and restocking of furniture and event rental equipment for weddings and luxury events throughout the Omaha area.

If you're punctual, detail-oriented, comfortable driving a 26' box truck, and take pride in providing excellent service, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles, including a 26' box truck, for local event deliveries and pickups.

• Load and unload box trucks with event rental inventory and ensure all items are properly secured for transportation.

• Deliver, set up, move, tear down, and pick up event rental items including tables, chairs, bars, dance floors, tabletop, décor, and other event essentials.

• Ensure all furniture, tabletop, and décor is delivered and set up according to client specifications and event plans.

• Communicate with the internal team regarding delivery schedules, venue details, and any changes or issues that arise.

• Maintain professionalism when interacting with clients, venue staff, and event coordinators on-site.

• Assist with restocking inventory and other warehouse or operational tasks between deliveries.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe delivery vehicle and work environment.

• Report any damaged, missing, or incorrect inventory to the appropriate team member.

• Follow all company safety procedures and instructions from the team lead.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This is a great role for someone who is looking for flexible, day-time work and enjoys creating order amongst the chaos! A positive attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to get a little dirty are a must for this position.

A BIT MORE ABOUT THE ROLE:

This person must have reliable transportation to our warehouse in Waterloo, NE. Typical hours for this position are 8:00-4:00, though flexibility in hours is an option. This position is part time, approximately 16-24 hours per week, with the potential for upward movement within the company.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cleaning dishes, flatware, votives/candle centerpieces, rugs and furniture

• Tagging dirty or broken items as they are unloaded

• Restocking items on shelves after they have been cleaned

• Notifying team members about inventory changes/damaged items

• Packing orders with appropriate labeling system

• Restocking packing materials and ensuring work space is tidy

Pay: From $19/hour

• Ability to work long hours, with flexibility to adjust to event schedules.

Qualifications:

• Professional and friendly demeanor – you’ll be the face of the company at events and will interact directly with clients and event coordinators.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour, Incentive pay out for late night or Sunday shifts.

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week

• Maintain professionalism while interacting with clients and event coordinators on-site.

Job Requirements:

• Reliable transportation to work and the ability to easily lift 75+ lbs.

• A positive attitude and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

• Professionalism is a must! You’ll be representing our luxury furniture rental company at every event.

• Availability to work on 3 days a week during the week. We offer flexible scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Punctual and reliable – we emphasize the importance of being on time!

• Professional and friendly demeanor – you’ll be the face of the company at events and will interact directly with clients and event coordinators.

• Positive attitude and a strong teamwork ethic – you must be willing to work hard, stay upbeat, and work efficiently, even during long shifts.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour, Incentive pay for occasional shifts after 4pm
